Vintage P Bass

This is the Old Bones Vintage P bass pickup. This has been influenced by the early Fender pickups and aims to provide an accurate vintage tonality.

One of the main differences between my Vintage P and the originals is that I do not fit a brass base plate to mine. The reasoning is simple - it's separted from the pickup by the height adjustment foam; this gap negates any tonal benefit that the base plate would provide.

Otherwise, it's vintage accurate and gives a true vintage tone, with fantastic note separation and clarity. They are made with 42 AWG Heavy Formvar, and are RWRP between the two halves of the pickup, and are partially wax potted to allow for greater dynamics.
