Keelhauler

The specification of the Keelhauler is one I recommended to customers who were after something different. Often chasing something that has more punch than a standard PAF style humbucker, but not as high output as the Modern PAF. The feedback I got from these customers has been so positive that I have decided to make them into their own model.

The Keelhauler has sandblasted AlNiCo 2 magnets at it's heart, with unpotted 42 AWG plain enamel wire. This gives a wonderful character making them suitable for modern and vintage tones alike, with the unpotted wire allowing the notes to bloom and develop. The lower string pull of the AlNiCo 2 magnets adds to this by allowing the notes to sustain longer - fantasic for solo's filled with feeling!
